In order to maintain a healthy credit history and improve your chances of getting approved for future credit, it is important to make timely payments on your Axis Bank credit card. Fortunately, Axis Bank provides various online and offline methods for making credit card bill payments, including the popular BillDesk platform.
Paying your Axis Bank credit card bill through BillDesk is a simple three-step process. First, you need to provide your credit card details, including the 16-digit card number and the payment amount. Next, you select the bank account from which you want to make the payment. Finally, you confirm the payment by entering your authentication details, such as your net banking user ID and password. Once the payment is confirmed, your account will be debited instantaneously, and you will receive an online transaction confirmation with a Transaction Reference Number.
Aside from BillDesk, Axis Bank offers several other convenient ways to pay your credit card dues. If you have an Axis Bank savings account, you can easily pay your bills through Axis Bank internet banking. Simply log on to your internet banking account, go to the 'Credit Card' section, select the card for which you want to make a payment, and follow the necessary steps.
Axis Bank also provides a mobile banking app that allows you to make credit card payments on the go. By downloading the Axis Bank mobile app and following a few simple steps, you can easily pay your bills and enjoy a same-day turnaround time for payment clearance.
For those who prefer a hands-off approach, Axis Bank offers an Auto Debit facility. By setting up Auto Debit through either the mobile app or internet banking, you can have the total amount due or minimum amount due automatically deducted from your Axis Bank savings or current account each month.
If you prefer making payments in person, you can visit any Axis Bank ATM to pay your credit card bills using your Axis Bank ATM or debit card. The process is straightforward and the payment is credited to your credit card account on the same day.
Axis Bank also accommodates cash payments and cheque/draft payments. Simply visit your nearest Axis Bank branch to make a cash payment, or drop a cheque/draft in favor of 'Axis Bank Card No. (16-digit Credit Card Number)' at any nearby Axis Bank branch or MINC bill box in Mumbai. Please note that a Rs.100 service fee will be charged for cash payments at Axis Bank branches.
Customers can also pay their Axis Bank credit card bills using their savings accounts at other banks. Options include paying via UPI, National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT), or Visa Money Transfer (VMT). Each method has its own turnaround time for payment clearance, ranging from 1 to 2 working days.
It is important to note that Axis Bank recommends using the aforementioned payment methods to ensure timely clearance of your credit card dues. Payments made through other channels, such as third-party apps not affiliated with Axis Bank, may have a longer turnaround time for clearance. Additionally, if the bank does not receive funds by the due date, penal charges may be levied.
By taking advantage of the various payment options provided by Axis Bank, you can easily manage and settle your credit card bills, ensuring a positive credit history and future credit opportunities.
