You've likely heard about the necessity of linking your Aadhaar number with your bank account through various media outlets. But have you ever wondered why the government is emphasizing this? The Indian Government has initiated numerous schemes, and to ensure the benefits reach everyone, it has made it mandatory to link your 12-digit Unique Identification Number (Aadhaar) with your bank account(s). Whether you have one account or multiple accounts across different banks, it's crucial to link them all. Additionally, the UIDAI has introduced face authentication as an extra security measure along with existing biometric methods.
Karnataka Bank, in alignment with government regulations, also requires Aadhaar linking. If you have an account with Karnataka Bank and need to know how to link your Aadhaar, this guide will help you through the process.
