Today's LPG Gas Price in India
Today's LPG Gas Price in India

Jun 22, 2024
15 Mins

Oil marketing companies operated by the state set LPG prices in India, and these prices are revised monthly. Currently, the LPG price is Rs.903.00 in New Delhi and Rs.902.50 in Mumbai. Most households have an LPG connection primarily used for cooking.
Two key factors determine LPG cylinder prices in India: the rupee's exchange rate against the dollar and the global benchmark rate. Each household is entitled to up to 12 cylinders (14.2 kg each) per year at subsidized rates. Additional cylinders must be purchased at the market price. LPG prices are based on the previous month's international market price.

What is LPG?
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) consists of butane and propane and is mainly used for powering vehicles, cooking, and heating. As a fossil fuel, it is produced through the crude oil refinery process and natural gas processing.
