Click on the ‘Check Certificate’ link.
On the new page, enter the certificate number and other required details, such as:
Issuing authority
Name
Date
Old certificate number
Issuing year
Click on ‘Search.’
The caste certificate information will be displayed on the page.
Check the status and other details.
Print a copy of the page for reference.

To check the status of your caste certificate, you need the following documents:
New certificate number
Old certificate number
Issuing year
Issuing authority
Name
Date of issuance
Caste certificate application number (required to check the application status online at castcertificatewb.gov.in)
How to Apply for a SC, ST, or OBC Certificate
To apply for a caste certificate, follow these steps:
Select the district you are applying for.
Select the sub-division.
Choose the municipality or block.
Select the appropriate name from the list.
Choose the category (SC, ST, or OBC) for which you need the certificate.
Select the applicable caste, tribe, or community from the list.
Enter the applicant’s name and father’s name.
Enter the applicant’s mobile number and email address.
Enter the applicant’s Aadhar card number and date of birth.
Select the district and police station from the list.
Enter the name of the village or city where the applicant was born.
After completing the above steps, follow these instructions to specify your address:
Click the ‘Get PS’ button after choosing the district.
Select the police station of your district.
Enter the General Practitioner’s or Ward Number.
Enter your village, para, house number, or road number.
Enter the post office name in your locality.
Enter the pin code.
Ensure that the provided address matches your permanent address.
Additional Details Required
Select the applicant’s religion.
Select the gender.
Provide information on the paternal blood relation if necessary.
Enter the certificate holder’s name who is related to the applicant.
Specify the relationship with the certificate holder.
Enter the certificate number and issuance date of the certificate holder.
Select the issuing authority.
Enter the referee names and addresses (Referee I and Referee II).
Indicate if the applicant or their family is native to another state or country.
Provide migration details if applicable.
